What they've currently shown is pretty all-in on this being a gold-standard Prime game.
That doesn't mean they can't mix it up, but I myself wouldn't expect them to change it like that.
Put another way, if they only have it very lightly it would be unenjoyable or pointless, and if they do it seriously it might deviate from the core design too much.
