Society is really changing.
There are the stupid cattle who will walk into the slaughterhouse.
But for the rest of us, society is becoming so hostile that it no longer exists.
I stopped going out much because I don't feel like being a participant in some great social experiment that consists of spying on me, running mathematical calculations against me.
When you go to the supermarket, they scan your face and check it against a list of shoplifters, and maybe give you a discount. I don't want that.
I would never go to a sports match, where they run all these experiments.
AI-powered facial recognition cameras are rare now, but soon they'll be the rule. Then they'll know everywhere you go and everyone you meet, just like in China. And if they miss anything, they'll have a Citizen Spy app so your nosy neighbors can rat you out.
This isn't a world I want to live in. But with society coming undone, the only thing they have left is enforcing dystopia upon an unwilling populace.
And if you don't want to live in that world, you're automatically flagged as a threat to society. Why would anyone want to belong to such a society?
