It happens because when you move in FBT your meshes can leave their automatically generated bounding boxes.
Select all your skinned mesh game objects and enter new numbers to update all your bounding boxes at once.
Alternatively, adding any VRCFury component to your avatar will automatically apply their entire list of checks/fixes, one of which will repair your bounding boxes.
