the fact that 99% of the fandom dismissed the idea of don being a bloodfiend up until Murder on the warp train just means that project moon did a HORRIBLE job at foreshadowing it (that's if they intended for it from the start)
really the "hints" for it being
>her base ego passive healing from bleed (which could be chalcked up to gameplay stuff)
>fluid sac being a sac of blood (and it could've represented a million other things)
shows that they either came up with the sancho twist around canto 5-ish or they just never bothered trying to hint at it seriously
