Yeah, essentially. It started as a fetish for dullahan/detachable head girls, but I eventually read a story similar to that idea (where a dullahan steals the reader's head) and I started to like the idea of my own head coming off.
There's lots of ways for it to happen/aftermath that I can really get into. Most of the time I imagine I am my head and my headless body has a mind of his own, but I'll also play with being my body or having control over it.
