Australia has imposed sanctions on 60 vessels believed to be part of Russia’s so-called "shadow fleet," used to bypass international sanctions and export oil and restricted goods.

FM Penny Wong said these ships can now be denied entry to Australian ports — the first such move in the country’s history.
