From what I have gathered, it seems like the availability might just be whatever isn't sold at the event. I was watching a stream the other day where the guys in it had been asking their people at the Japanese Mafex stores and they were kind of downplaying the possibility of any being made available for online/general release. I see it as "soon available" on Nin-Nin, which suggests there will be some stock sent to stores at least.
