I usually play games with the music off 'cause it seems certain sounds give me headaches. This isn't bad though. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I'll probably turn it on when I fight him for real.

I guess this is my problem then? I fought the pirates, the ghosts in the Golem's cave (and the golem there), and the zombies. Going by the catalog, I seemed to have found almost every enemy (besides demons) prior to the Master Swordsman. (The goblins aren't in my book, but know their location. Just didn't eradicate them yet.)
If it's some special gear in some hidden spot, then I maybe missed it. I'm not good at spotting the hidden stuff in this game.
