There are some
"V-Tuber" people who use an animated avatar, and then on some Sex Cam website someone built some kind of 3D anime avatar character that they could control with some kind of xbox connect body movements and they had a really great audio changer for the time ( this is before AI voice changing got so good ).
It's pretty easy to do "well" with the V-Tube anime avatars, but none of them are even in the top 100 earners on Twitch from what I can see.
Some cam websites have banned people using 3D virtual whore / stripper type characters, but even on the ones that still allow it ... the popularity has dropped quite a bit. There were a few that were #1 for a while, but now you never see them.
