One of the most important aspects of training a slave is destroying any sense of hope they might have. My favorite way to do this is to intentionally let them escape. I have a cozy little cabin that is visible on the horizon from the entrance to my dungeon.
>Intentionally leave her restraints a little loose
>She escapes
>She exits the dungeon and sees the comfy looking cabin with smoke pouring from the chimney on the horizon
>Naturally she runs to it to be rescued
>I am there waiting for her
The best part is it usually takes her a few seconds to realize it is me when I open the door
