I actually haven't played any PVP modes in over a year. I only replay the campaigns and very occasionally do Salmon Run.
The fact the game hasn't changed in so long means the vast majority of players are significantly better than me and I don't feel like catching up. The highest I've ever gotten in ranked was B-.
