Very fair. I loved og Naruto and Shippuden had enough spirit of the original for me to force myself through the series, which has some amazing moments. But it peaks at Lord Pain and never really gets any better than that.
I love Dragonball and Z (do not like Super at all) despite it being a gag manga and then action first, story second manga. One Piece is fantastic but I wasn't the hugest fan of a certain fruit being a different fruit.
