Faith isn’t “believing a book because someone said so.” It's trusting in what reason, evidence, and experience confirm, and then acting on it. Everyone has faith in something; science, reason, politics, self, but not everyone examines whether it holds up. God invites inspection. He doesn't want robots or fanboys, He wants people who love truth.
As for Hell, it’s not about being punished for asking questions. It’s what happens when someone knows the truth and still says “no thanks.” It's separation from God by choice. God doesn’t force you to love Him, but He also won't force you to live in His presence forever if you reject Him.
So no, God is not stupid. He’s patient. He built a world that screams His name, gave you a mind to recognize it, and offers forgiveness through the most selfless act in history. What’s actually foolish is mocking that while breathing the air He gave you.
