I’ve never been on a cruise but I see a lot of the big cruise ships docking at the greek islands I go to. They are like hyper luxurious 5* resorts. When you stay at the best resorts that’s it, that’s all you do, you just float around in the pools, eat, go to the bar, go in the sea, soak up the sun. You go to restaurants too. Your room is just a place to pass out in. You look around the towns. There’s entertainers and there’s clubs, shopping. That’s what a holiday is. I’d defo pay grands to do a cruise on a luxury liner. You’d be mad not to if you have the money.

I have about 5 weeks before I go away again. It looks like it could be the nicest place i ever stayed and I’ve stayed at the best places. It’s hot here today, i had to jump up out of bed at the crack of mid afternoon and ride my scooter to do a few errands, I’m tired & thirsty and energy-less and I was just thinking how badly I need to be in a 5* resort on a sun lounger, or floating in a pool in the greek sun not the humid UK traffic polluted sun.
I only ever saw a couple of nogs in fact I can only recall one that i saw once years ago at an island resort who some coal burner had obviously taken with them. You don’t get them in the paradise i presume they can’t afford it or they spend their money on other things or someone wisely keeps them away. Or they all end up on a ferry up a fjord. The muppet. A fucking fjord.
A few years back someone wanted me to go to Finland with them. Get fucked finland i said. That’s not a holiday that’s a challenge. Fuck that noise.
