Since then it's been largely untouched for half a century, but there could totally come a new time, funny enough leading into another global war time and draconian laws, where it's criminalized again. Homosexuality was also extremely criminal for many years despite being widespread way longer back in history, and in certain countries.

Puritanism comes and goes but the times change slowly.

What we're witnessing right now is that we're so deep into a century of peace that previously benign shit starts to look like satan to increasingly infantilized and over-protected youth, who react stronger and stronger as they realize what adult life is, because none of us have thickened skin anymore.

It took a war that damn near ended in nuclear winters across europe and the Holocaust before we ended up in generations of absolutely war-scarred society who just wanted to stop taking everything so fucking seriously, and that's largely the culture reflected in the time most of us probably witnessed early in our lives, whether it was the late 90s or early 2000s.

The reason women are suddenly acting like screaming children despite being 28 years old, is because they're incapable of understanding that the world is a much harsher place than they've ever actually experienced in an over-organized and over-clean society, which darker internet underbelly looks increasingly out of place with its degenerate and old-school content hiding under the corporatized social media services.
