>do they scratch?
With their teeth or skin, maybe. No claws on them. They just look kind of cute and some have cat-like eyes. Pic related. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spotted-belly_catshark
>it makes them really aerodynamic! or rather, waterdynamic. i think,
Yup! Hydrodynamic is the very technical term, but hydro- just means water.
>i think it would only be nice if you get stuck at a certain age and not just get older infinitely.
True, true. Don't wanna be a bag of bones clinging on to life.
>sigh, i wish our world had more interesting creatures
B^^^^^^) well with the right attitude and some questionable ethics...
>nuclear winter type of terrifying? i think living in the stalker world would be such a vibe. (until i get mauled to death by some monstrosity)
Less nuclear winter and more paranoia over bombs.
>i am not sure i want to know what a spider machine does.
It forces the spiders to live and make silk :). It's okay though, they'll be lobotomized :).
>what does that usually consist of?
Mostly just handling their food and water when I wake up and putting them up before it gets dark. Getting their eggs too. The harder part at the moment is handling the new hens who can't sleep in the same coop and who are also very scared of me and run around all over the place. The hens I raised are all so nice and don't really run from me. If you do get some hens though, try and hand feed them as chicks. You basically just need some food in your hand and to sit there for a bit until they get used to you. The more you hang out with them the more they'll want to be near you.
