I get that, but I figure there's still a reasonable path to beat him, but I don't see it. I was at level 400-something, and an anon told me to get some specific gear and be level 800 to be safe or something. Days later, I'm here doing a test battle with him at level 767, but he can still OHKO me, or at least near that once we go outside.
I get it's suppose to be hard, but right now there's not even a clear idea of how I'm even suppose to win without stacking boosts from the ng+ room.
