Iunno about you but the slow down of the story towards a slice of life pace centered around Megumin and her new defacto lil sis was refreshing to me. It was an escape from the fast paced Cancer fighting development and a good dive into the Dome civilian's perspective in humanity's fight for survival. It kinda existed for the same purpose as that long horseback ride moment in Red Dead Redemption 2 right after you go through the tedious as fuck Guarma arc.
