Circumcision was first known in written history in ancient Egypt, but the practice is likely far older, as Nilotic Africans further south who have little influence from Egyptians, Australian Aboriginals who haven't been connected to other humans in 50,000 years, and cave art in Algeria dated to over 6,000 years ago depicting either Ancient North Africans or sub-Saharan derived Black Africans show that circumcision is extremely old.
That being said, I refuse to get circumcised and none of my male kids will suffer that fate. A long historical tradition doesn't mean it's alright.

It was Seventh Day Adventists, a Protestant Christian denomination that is borderline a cult, that popularized circumcision in America. Specifically, it was John Harvey Kellogg who touted the technique as a mean for boys and men to stop jacking off. He even wanted women to suffer the same technique but he failed. You can't blame this on the Jews, this is white bullshit all over again.
