If accidental, Hajime would be upset about voting for him. I think they all would, realistically. Would Sonia be that broken up over it? Nah, but I dont think she would be comfortable convicting a death sentence to someone who didn't maliciously end a life.

If he had the Despair Disease, I think they would show him the same contempt they did with Mikan. I think his reasoning this time would be killing because he's aware its a simulation and nothing can fix him. He's a broken doll that can't be put back together. He's toxic to everything he touches, so might as well end things before he gets his hopes up.
