....let's compare BG3 to Veilguard.....

BG3 is NOT a woke game. Because even though you can create a gay/trans character, and have gay/trans relationships in the game...for a game that let's you choose whatever you want to do, as anyone you want to be. Such identity politics will never impact the goals of the game. Heck, you can even killed the gay-vampire guy straight up and spend the entire time, fucking the shit out of that lizard chick until the end the game... would a 'woke' game allow you to kill that gay person like that?.... so no, 'not woke'.

Now some will say, "just because there are gay/trans/black people in the game, that alone makes it woke"... no, those people are idiots with the brainworms..... the whole point is nothing in the game is going to force you to conform to trendy reddit talking points to progress....

Now look at Veilguard... you probably heard about the 5 minute cutscene about using 'proper pronouns'... THIS IS WOKE... the fact that you bought a game, only to be lectured, and learned upon to punish yourself when mis-speaking about those in the alphabet-club. You cannot avoid this scene, and cannot progress unless you suffer through their veiled lecturing to the audience-gamer..... ESPECIALLY since previous iterations of the Dragon Age franchise never put any gamer through that. Yes, IIRC, you could have gay-elf sex in the earlier game,,,but only if you CHOOSE that... .in Veilguard, you have to get lectured.... this was done against the developers initial intention of how the game was supposed to be represented. Someone (not the director) pushed to hard inject that lecture against the original vision... that's why it's been branded as "woke".
