The stretched out arm thing is sorely missed, that's one of the things that got me into Kamen Rider when I was a kid. It just looks so good.

I like it, but not as much as I like when they use the henchmen's weapons against them. Hongo throwing knives at people is awesome.

Off the top of my head, Hongo did it more by virtue of having more episodes on the show, as V3 takes a while to warm up to fighting. In later appearances on other Showa shows he does it a lot more though, which is probably what led to Zubat existing a few years later. Zubat is so cool.
