Pegasi are goofballs, so broken windows are probably a common occurrence in Ponyville. I also clocked in on that line while watching, but I find it to be a fairly moot point, especially against the barrage of support this episode has given to the theory (Twilight talking about stallions, the Twixie family not showing up to an event where all of the town was invited...)
