You know I’ve been wondering but is there something to asian religion that reincarnations are also separate people?
Cause I assumed Yugi and Bakura are reincarnations of Atem and Thief King, and in Naruto, Naruto and Sasuke are reincarnations of the 1st Hokage and Madara that are also reincarnations of Kaguya’s children. And in Avatar Legend of Aang tbat is based in chinese culture the Avatar keeps reincarnating over the four nations and each past life helps the next one.
Like their reincarnations isn’t like the soul gets a factory reset but more like it produces a linked offshoot. Is there a reason for that?
