Now that I think about it, armor for Centaurs would be ridiculously expensive.
Like you could build a small guest wing for a small fort from the cost of a quality horse armor back then. Now you have to also make the armor fully interconnected with the half-human part too.

Both a ludicrous nightmare for the blacksmith and the local trasury.
