It's kind of a long story, but pretty much all newfags and tourists don't even remember when Kizuna Ai used to be posted a lot here because she being the first vtuber who also had a gaming channel was a huge novelty back then, then came Hololive which, specifically Korone, reignited the interest of this board on vtubers.
You can see that most vtuber haters on this board follow the same modus operandi: the same kind of buzzwords, the same kind of newfag words, the same anit-Japan glowie behavior, and even if I do agree that vtubing should stay on /vt/, it's pretty hilarious to watch them losing their shit at the sight of a single vtuber reaction image on any thread, almost like they're actively monitoring the entire board so they can scream at you.
