The pharisees in Jesus time were edomites who were converts from Babylon where the king had also converted.
These edomite converts were the ones who were cast to all corners of the world when the temple was destroyed.
Most jews no longer know what tribe they were from and in addition, in ancient times the lineage was from father to son. Yet in modern times jewishness is passed from mother to child.
Cohens still track their lineage but as DNA evidence shows, ashkenazi jews are entirely made up of turkish converts.
Probably the closest to the edomites in Jesus time are the sephardi jews. But there is no evidence of lineage from the original israelites from which Jesus descended among any jews or jewish sects that I know of.
