I helped train Mexican troops in Mexico a while back. They had more combat experience than me, anon is right, Mexican soldiers are top tier at urban warfare. They are heavily recruited as mercenaries for the Russian-Ukraine war for this reason. The Mexican Army used to be a joke but they really got down small unit tactics and urban warfare down. I remember when I was there a Mexican infantry squad took down like 30 cartel members lol. The cartels are being forced to hire Colombian army vets because their guys get getting reked.

I have limited experience with the Indian Army but they were a complete joke. Latin American militaries in general have their shit together when it comes to fighting. It's just corruption gets in the way, but military speaking they are far superior than Indian, Arab or middle eastern militaries. Mexican Marines really impressed me and don't think Indians can match them
