It really is such a basic and common sense way to have written the stories that ofc a woman bungled it and refused to write Draconia. Everything about their rivalry would've been way more engaging and made more sense if Malfoy was a chick. It's the single biggest writing mistake and missed opportunity of the franchise and considering how many others there are that's saying a lot.
