Yup riding is where it's the worst. Some dogs seem to think you're some kind of weird animal and flip out. If I can't outrun I generally just force myself to jump off and confront the fucker. 95% of the time they see you're a guy and immediately lose interest. And I figure, if they keep coming, I'm now standing there holding a large metal object.

But there have been a couple times when something told me it was wise to just go like hell and lose 'em. It's the ones that don't bark and just come at you full throttle. They don't want to scare you, they want to get you. Yes, one of these was a pit, but the other few looked like german shepard mutts. Like mini grey wolves. A few times I've been flying down a woods road and almost run into a kamikaze... had to fake them out and dodge at the last second. I get that people will have guard dogs in the country, but you shouldn't have your animal with a taste for fucking flesh just wandering public roads. We spend centuries intensively breeding working dogs just to have everybody plug their ears and pretend that breed LITERALLY DOES NOT MATTER
