A very odd thing is they also changed the stars on the space platforms tileset maps even for the original graphics mode. Pic related is the original- bright bluish stars, medium yellowish stars, dim orange/reddish stars, coinciding with real-life star types. In the later patch, they are now purple and white or something like that. I can't imagine they intentionally went in and did this, so it must be some kind of issue with the new renderer or something.
