Hello retard. They do not need AI to make a super virus, as they have already made viruses capable of the task. Those in power are probably not going to use a virus to this end. Viruses, once you deploy them will escape you're control and can mutate unpredictably as viruses do. They can evolve past your attempts at pre inoculation, killing the people who would benefit from a depopulation event. Or alternatively the virus can mutate down into a less deadly variant in a short period of time, rendering it useless. Or it could jump to multiple species and frag the entire biosphere, ruining the world they supposedly want to rule over. Viruses are shit weapons.
