Sekiro is one of those games where I can tell it's well-made but it also was the game that made me realize I couldn't get that into games where the parry is THE core mechanic. Explains why Doom Dark Ages is just okay to me and is why I'm skipping E33 despite all the hype.

2D Ninja Gaiden really should get some more appreciation; Ragebound's demo put it up near the top of all upcoming games this year (with the new Shinobi). Also MM3 is a based choice; even with the slowdown issues it's great.

Cool, though I've only played the SD3 remake and not the original. I should also maybe try Xenogears one day because it's basically the progenitor of the combat system that would eventually become Project X Zone 2.

Bloodborne is the only more standard soulslike that I've clicked with at all so maybe I'd enjoy Lies of P. Khazan seems like it's closer to Nioh-like games in terms of pace but I'm not exactly fiending for more especially since Nioh 3 is within a year. As for WW, I'm extremely weary of mobile games that purport action combat systems after trying Honkai Impact 3rd back in the day and for all its flash and attempts at systems it was still bogged down by all that mobage shit; the character-swapping perk-picking action itch can now be scratched by Morbid Metal.

Based GenU enjoyer. It really is the sweetspot for how I like Monster Hunter even if it doesn't have my favorite rendition of my main weapon or the vibes of 3rd gen. For all of the game's other plentiful issues Wilds HH is so perfect.

I can't say I've ever been enticed to try Melty despite really loving Under Night mechanically. There's also no characters that seem to have what my UNI mains (Tsurugi & Waldstein) offer.
