That's an expensive fucking mistake. Not uncommon.
Some MBA executive heard offshoring was profitable and decided to blow up the operation to make some bonus money. They always find out that it's not a wise move when they cost the company $millions and get fired for tanking the brand.
US born and raised jeets aren't always bad. Some are pretty skilled.
In 20 years in IT, I've never met a skilled foreign born jeet. If they have an accent, they're terrible.
