I don't care that they changed style, cut their hair, sold out, became huge, went commercial, etc. This band isn't only excellent metal; it's also excellent music in general. I used to be into extreme metal and shit on it and everyone who listened to them, dismissing them all as posers and acting as if I was above them. After being into metal for ca. a decade, I finally realized how wrong I always had been. Every album of theirs is a masterpiece for different reasons, and I can't help but love their music. Did anything similar happen to you with any band?
