Absolutely, almost worse than the other Brutes. I was playing in a GU lobby a while back doing that coal miner quest for charms and not only was I the only person who didn't die, but I absolutely styled on him. Being able to Adept dodge through his explosions and run back to chop his balls/hands/head is so insanely strong against him. Since he's so aggressive it gives you more opportunities to punish him with your dodge attacks. I'm a firm believer that Adept Switch Axe is the best way to play it in GU, even if you have to forgo the arts the insane aggression and being able to avoid everything with no skill cost is so insanely good.
