Well, after going over with my little bro who's played Frontiers, he actually likes Frontiers Amy, we had an argument over 2000s Amy and I'm guessing this is probably the general outlook, he can recognize the good aspects whenever she wasn't around Sonic, (so Gamma, Ark speech, Prof Pickle, etc.) but found her to be annoying whenever it involved Sonic. I did bring out mismanagement and how her chase with Sonic was supposed to be a nieche but it didn't change that she was annoying. But Frontiers Amy being a lot calm and I argued devoid of character he shot back with it being caring about the Koco and I couldn't dismiss that but she lacked spunk or a nuance but even he likes Frontiers Amy more than 2000s. Maybe I'm just throwing in the towel and coming to the realization the people that play the games really are just enjoying this new direction with Amy because she's not "annoying" anymore bottom line he humbled me with saying that. I think listening to fandom at this point isn't a good thing, I love Amy at the end of the day but if people in general prefer Ian's Amy then I guess a safe over correction is better than a negative reaction.
I don't want to listen to fandom anymore.
