In order to handle your adrenaline you have to adapt and regulate your emotions to inspire confidence in yourself. You should practice some mindful techniques to help you practice slowing down your thoughts to prevent your mind going blank. Try some breathing exercises or mindful meditation. Your distraction comes from old emotional wounds that are now affecting you physically (through anxiety), but you will soon no longer feel overwhelmed after you learn to process/adjust to the situations you are presented to.
