You know how much it sucks being a Modern player and never having one of your own to root for on streams? The past evo and capcom cup had zero Modern representation in the later brackets. Modern was pretty much dead pre patch, even Tachikawa was co maining Classic Manon. Chris G was pretty much the only one left but he kept flopping. But finally Infexious crack the code and played Modern in the way that best utilizes it's defensive & reactionary strengths and got a win for all Modern players!

And damn does it feel good to see one of your guys get the win but this is just the beginning. I feel it, this win is going to motivate Modern bros world wide to go harder now that we have the existence proof. Fuck it, Shuto might even go back to Modern Marisa after this one. It's really about our time.
