I've been worried about the attempts to outrun something on his part, and that I'm a sort of shield. He even tried to tell me I'm disadvantaged so my values should be in alignment with his, but this also does nothing to address or fix the reasons I can't trust him. I have been considering acquiring information on my own but wasn't sure how risky that would be or if I may regret finding anything out.
