This doesn't matter and it doesn't mean anything. If the earth is in a giant void, then the Milky Way galaxy that we occupy is in the same void. Humanity will never even come close to exploring even the tiniest fraction of our own galaxy, much less any place else. So it doesn't make a bit of fucking difference to us exactly where our galaxy is located. In the big picture, we are never going anywhere that will make the slightest bit of difference to the Universe at large. Compared to the size and age of the Universe, we are so small and our reign so brief we really never existed at all on any scale that matters.
