my fave animes are flcl, tatami galaxy, and 1 more im forgetting. i rat them 7.5-9/10.

a decade ago i frequented /a/ and watched lots of the popular stuff, and the niche picks. probably 20 shows and 20 more that got 1-3 ep trials.

i am of the opinion that almost all anime sucks.

there are no 10/10 animes.

almost all the "highly-rated" stuff barely crosses 6/10. that includes cowboy bebop, evangelion, and niche picks like logh, monster, everything popular on /a/.

it simply does not compare to the general quality of western media, much less gems like the sopranos and the wire.

anime is just bad. i wish it were better, but it isnt.
