Not going to argue all day. Islands are called "unsinkable aircraft carriers" for a reason. America has essentially encircled China with them, and China is incapable of stopping them from being resupplied. Whereas Chinese ships in open waters are extremely vulnerable.

This isn't some kind of pissing contest about which country is better. America just has the geographical advantage. What do you think the "first island chain" is for?
