this goes completely against basic software engineering and the unix philosophy. there's no need to rewrite Vim, if he wants a Vim-like editing experience he should just write a plugin for NVim and set up integrations to make it easy to write prompts in a separate NVim editor instance.
It's his project, but this is hobbyist software practices, not how you create a viable product. the sad reality is that it's already DOA from him openly associating pedo gens with his project. if he got funding, the funders would oust him the moment this became widespread knowledge.
the reason ComfyUI is winning is because it has a lower-level abstraction than a rigid Gradio UI design and has composable elements. the speed of development and adding support for new models comes from this design. A1111, Forge, and AniStudio quickly accumulate excessive tech debt by entangling their different components in a single official UI implementation. I wish we had a better alternative to Comfy, but this is the reality.
