I am from Texas, but I don't think it really contributes to my liking her very much. It's basically the only thing I actually have in common with her. I was born in the city, not the country, and my personality irl is somewhere between Twilight and Fluttershy. I've never worked a farm or garden or anything, and I'm not super into sports or athletics. My liking Applejack is based pretty much entirely on how pleasant and likeable I find AJ to be. I like that she's so reliable and is always willing to go so far for the people she cares about. I guess you can say while my personality and background aren't as in line with Applejack's, but her values and desires are most similar to my own. Out of all the mane 6, she's just the one I would want the approval and friendship of the most.
