My point is that the slat armor """tech""" is over 100 years old at this point and has been used by every military (including kikes and usa) at one point or another.
Everyone just jumped on the "protection from top attack wepoans" bandwagon without thinking. Which slat armor is not likely to do, but we don't have any evidence one way or another (at least that I am aware of).

And now the latest evolution of slat (or stand off) armor is "Tsar Mangal"
