Which is why most of them flop bigly. Phainon is probably the only exception where they reeled back the early homo aspects in favor of shonencore and catering to the male audience which makes up the majority of Hoyo's playerbase. It's not that hard to make a cool/edgy male character or JRPG protagonist that appeals to men but Mihomo in particular just want to cater to the 1% homo crowd instead of the people that actually spend on their game.
