I like focusing on the women and generally don't like the way male sims look. I would also blur the dude's face out too but I have to think the pose/animation is good enough to do so. I also used to have some other male sims but now I just occasionally bounce between two, so it's less self-inserting and strangely more like having a main. I'm not actually cropping the images either, that's my actual main monitor resolution.
