I think you missed the point of the fallen angel school being lead by a literal red devil who misguided them and turned them against their own breathren. Taking the lambs and leading them astray into war with each other until they lose all of their virtue over generations and just get reduced to child soldiers who are only taught hatred. They chant bible verses but they don't know what they mean, instead they're only taught the wrong meanings out of context as a means to control them. Beatrice even says she took music away from them and taught them scripture wrong to control them, to misguide them. She didn't start the civil war between arius but she took advantage of it and made sure the wrong side won in the end. You can pick up the pieces of the story in passing about what happened to Arius which was once a lovely and good school but got destroyed over generations due to infighting and arguments about faith, until the only ones left are child soldiers who had no idea what the original arguments even were, all they knew was hatred, that's the only thing the previous ones left behind, hatred. Hatred that is not your own, just like how trinity hated gehenna, and gehenna hated trinity, arius was also taught to hate the other schools even though they never once questioned why they hated them. The fact an outsider took advantage of whatever good intentions once existed and only used to it exploit them further is a good example of something. Saori quotes bible verses but she takes the meaning in slightly the wrong direction; her famous "vanitas" quote is a bible verse. She has the Bible verse written on her hat so you can always look it up.
