>Did the gameplay change much between 2014 and 2020?
The core of the game has remained largely the same, centered around fast-paced combat wrapped in a typical themepark/WoW-like progression structure. If you ever dabbled in TERA during its earlier years, it'll still be fairly familiar to (You).
That said, the overall speed of combat picked-up considerably with the release of "Apex" Skills in ~2018, combined with a general balancing trend towards faster animations and shorter cooldowns. Many older classes had their rotations completely overhauled to accommodate these new Apex Skills, with some developing new identities or playstyles entirely.
Mystic, for example, went from a fairly niche PvP support specialist, to a proper party healer with an emphasis on personal mobility and damage at the expense of raw healing compared to Priest (although both can solo-heal practically any Dungeon if placed in a good party).
The APM required to perform well as nearly any class on v100 is noticeably higher compared to v32 (at least generally speaking), but it's pretty fun in its own ways, and some classes are more forgiving than others in that regard.
